Installation took around 1hr plus and most time is for modifiaction ò Foam. Torque Value for Mount Nut of Strut is 30 Nm

Simple installation as per described in the installation guide. Nuts to be torqued to the car body as per manufacturer's guide (30 Nm). Need to measure the required amount of plastic foam before trimming.

Use a marker to mark first where you want to cut the foam. And I use the garden knife to cut which would work fine. Cut little by little so not invasive. I made a mistake to cut a little more than it needed.

Here in the U.S. it is difficult to source many performance parts for the FXT.

If installing into a USDM model, you will have to remove the TPMS module from the RH strut-top mounting area, remove the mounting bracket, and then relocate to the left, in front of the bar (toward front of vehicle), using double-sided tape to affix to the floor-pan.



Trimming of the styrene covers (left, center, and right) must be performed. Go to the Laile Japan website and download the instructions - there are picture to use as guidance for trimming.

It is well made and sturdy. The most advantage for Laile rear strut brace is not exposed like Cusco rear strut tower. If you are looking for rear strut tower, this is it.

I didn't follow the instruction manual suggest. Becaue if you follow it, it is so hard to open the cover for spare tire. I cut the top part completely as you can see the picture, so I can open the cover freely anytime I need the spare tire.

Great product, stiffen up rear greatly, much less bouncy when run over bump, rear feels lighter, damping better, a bit less small bump filtering.

Installed the bar at BKS, trimmed the 3 pieces of sponge by myself. I cut the middle sponge into 2 pieces, so won't block access to spare tyre any more. If you follow their installation photo, then can't take out spare tyre without removing strut bar.
