Feels great, soft to the touch, great upgrade from the original hard plastic panel. This panel seems to be slightly thicker with the padding, and it is slightly deeper so it covers the display a bit better. The silver stitching goes well with the rest of the trims in the Forester XT.

- Installation tips
- Use a plaster pryer to pop open the center control trim piece. Pull it back slightly and disconnect the cable connects to the hazard light button.

- The upper tray piece (in front of the display) is a bit tricky. It's hard to find a grip and pull it out, so use a strong string and run it through the openings in the lower front of it, use a strong grip and pull it out.

- There are two screws holding the display unit and panel, unscrew them and pull the unit out.

- Remove the two cables behind connecting the unit.

- Remove the two screws at the back holding the display unit to the panel trim, and take the unit out.

- To install the panel trim and display back, just do everything in reverse.
