Did not follow the instructions from STI for the installation as felt not needed. Just unscrew the six bolts from both sides of the suspension tower and slip the STI flexible tower bar into place and tighten back with the new bolts provided. Just make sure that there is sufficient space between the bar and other engine parts to prevent knocking and you are good to go. Took around 20 minutes with appropriate tools.

Simple installation as per described in the installation guide. Key installation points are removal of nuts on each side, placement of strut bar and install new nuts. Require torque wrench to torque the nuts at specified value of 20 Nm.

Installation is simple and straight forward.

- First remove and discard the old flange nuts on one side first.

- Place the tower bar and align with the bolts. Install the new flange nuts and hand tighten.

- Move to the other side and remove and flange nuts. Place the tower bar bracket in and install the rest of the new flange nuts.

- Check for alignment and fitment, make sure nothing is rubbing against the the bar and it is sitting tight.

- Lastly tighten the flange nuts according to the instruction (20 N.m.).
That's it!

The STI Front Strut Bar is light weight and well engineered design. Easy to install and improved on handling, feel Rigid.

1) Remove the damper nuts, 3 numbers each side. Total of -6nuts

2) put in the strut bar. slide in driver side then following with passenger side.

3) Make sure the strut car is away of minimum 11.5mm from engine cover.

4) Use the supplied new 6nuts to lock down the strut bar mount to damper bolt.

5) use Torque Wrench to tighten down the 6nuts with value of 14.8ft lb (20Nm).

Easy to install. Just need to unscrew and screw back 3 screws.

Very easy to install. All done in less than 20 mins. Ride became firmer and cornering is so much improved after installing. Best part is it doesn't really affect the ride comfort. Highly recommend.
