Arrived with plastic seal across the filter opening and sealed in the box. Perfect OEM replacement for your Subaru engine. Correct bypass valve pressure ensures fault free operation.

- Installation tips
When removing your existing oil filter from the car, ensure the black rubber O ring comes off with the removed oil filter by inspecting the opening. If it does not appear within the oil filter opening then it is still attached to the engine block or oil filter (if installed). If you do not remove this old rubber O ring - prior to installing the new filter, it will not seal correctly and you will end up with a small oil leak.
