Great looking, higher air flow and sound

1-Remove the old front air filter housing by removing two clips on front and the two 10mm bolt one on the side near the engine head the other behind the headlight pulling out from finder side to release it from oem housing bracket.

2- use the long L holder on the engine side fix it by using the short m6 bolt on the new carbon housing (don't tight for alignment).

3-use the other holder on front side using the short m6 bolt (don't tight for alignment).

4-use the cylinder spacer on front hole after alignment bolt it with the long M6 bolt and tighten the bolts on the front. Fix the other side after alignment with the short m6 bolt and tighten all bolts.

5- place the air filter and close the box as the normal way.

*take the rubber from old air suction blastic housing and use it on the new carbon housing and Use the old clips for the front.

It took awhile to get shipped out, but when they did it was fast and packaging was great. Installation was straight forward and easy with few hand tools. I love the look and would like to believe my cars motor is loving the smoothed air flow.

All you need is a socket wrench and some alcohol.

Thumbs up for the quality of syms carbon intake for SJ. It’s so beautiful. So far no low end power loss compared to open pod and acceleration seems to be easier during low and high speed. No regrets
