- Installation tips
This piece is easiest to remove with an interior trim removal tool. There are two layers of plastic, the door grip and this trim. Use a trim tool to loosen the clips on the bottom at the side next to the arm rest. Move along the bottom and remove the clips at the bottom and up to the outer edge. You will then need to hold the piece on one side and use the tool to loosen the clips on the inner edge to remove original piece without breaking. One side clips are removed the original piece slides down.
