These have a longer length of non threaded area than the standard bolt which will reduce the negative space in the mount bushings. It is recommended to replace these bolts if whenever removing the rear subframe.

If you are installing a JDM rear subframe brace, be sure to replace all four bolts on your STi! These are much more beefier than the stock bolts.

Nice quality bolt, as expected from STi. No trouble installing, just know where it goes. Two bolts delivered per order.

- Installation tips
Two bolts (total) replace the two forward OEM bolts of the rear subframe. I added a picture of the Subaru maintenance manual for reference. Loosen the old bolts with a breaker bar if stuck, put the new ones in and torque to 145NM to prevent subframe movement under load. Remember: bolts to be used once, replace when you take them out.
