I used this fascia along with an Air-conditioning control panel (Bought separately) to replace my factory stereo unit. The fascia was in brand-new condition and well packaged, no damage on arrival. It fit my car perfectly and the colour matches exactly.

This is a fantastic upgrade for any V35 or G35, and very practical and useful. I bought a Kenwood DMX7017BTS headunit, and a Pac ROEM-NIS2 interface to complete the install.

- Installation tips

You need this fascia, along with air-conditioning controls and a PAC ROEM NIS2 interface to install a double-din headunit. You may also need a steering-wheel control adapter depending on your head unit, but I didn't need one for my Kenwood head unit.

You need to remove your factory stereo unit first, there are videos on youtube which show the numerous screws and panels you need to remove.

Then you need to unplug all the cables, and remove the factory head unit from the car. You'll need to unscrew the air vents and attach them to the new fascia. Also attach your air-conditioning controls. If you have a premium V35 with dual climate control, it is possible to transfer the button but it requires soldering a switch onto the back of the circuit board from your original controls.

Solder the wiring harness of your new headunit to the wiring harness of the PAC ROEM NIS2. Most of the wire colours match up, however you should read through the instruction manual as you do so to be sure. The PAC ROEM NIS2 will plug directly into your factory harnesses.

Connecting your steering wheel controls may require an adapter, otherwise you can just solder the required wires to the remaining factory harness. (Yellow is ground, red is input 1, green is input 2)

Put your new head unit in your car, put the panels back on, and enjoy.
